Delete your account
Deleting your account can't be undone. Read what happens before you continue.
What happens
When your account is deleted, the following is true:
- Your handle becomes available to someone else.
- Every session, personal access token, and passkey stops working.
- Applications that you authorized can no longer sign in as you.
- Your authenticator app, your recovery codes, and your connected GitHub account are removed.
- Your profile details are removed.
Repositories and files that you own in other CodeSoh products aren't deleted by this step. Delete anything that you don't want to keep before you delete your account. For repositories in CodeSoh Artifex, see Repositories.
Delete your account
To delete your account, follow these steps:
- Go to Delete account.
- In the Your handle field, enter your handle exactly.
- If your account has a password, in the Current password field, enter it.
- Click Delete account.
The page confirms that your account, its tokens, and its authorizations are gone, and you're signed out.
If the handle doesn't match, or the password is wrong, nothing is deleted and the form says what to correct.
